Front Door Services AAU SCN Advert.

Full time 37 hours per week.

We are looking for a suitably experienced Nurse with extensive post registration experience in an ED or SDEC setting (band 6 or band 7) to dynamically lead our team in the Acute Ambulatory Unit in the Borders General Hospital.

This is an exciting time to join our team of 4 registered Nurses and 4 Healthcare Support Workers to drive the improvement plan for front door services.

Over the next few months we plan to deliver an SDEC type model in the AAU taking 80% of GP expect away from the ED due to displaced pathways. This is to align right care in the right place across the front door emergency care services. With in the AAU there is an OPAT/infusion service that we are looking to expand as part of the improvement works.
