About The Role:

Our client, a prestigious architecture practice based in the heart of the city, is seeking a talented Senior Aviation Associate to join their team. Known for delivering innovative designs across the UK and internationally, the practice offers a collaborative workspace that fosters creativity.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aviation and masterplanning projects, especially in the Middle East. You will lead projects from concept to completion, mentor junior team members, and contribute to designing functional airport environments that meet current and future needs.

This role suits a strategic thinker with strong leadership, project management skills, and the ability to contribute significantly to project delivery. The team embraces hybrid working and fosters a supportive, inspiring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage large-scale aviation projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline adherence.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Oversee and mentor junior architects and support staff.
• Ensure designs comply with aviation regulations, safety, and sustainability standards.
• Present design concepts confidently to clients and stakeholders.
• Support business development activities such as proposals and client presentations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, technologies, and regulations relevant to aviation architecture.

Key Skills/Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture and ARB registration.
• Extensive experience in aviation and masterplanning sectors.
• Proven track record in delivering major airport projects internationally.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and AutoCAD is advantageous.
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to sustainable and innovative design.
