A global insights consultancy in the UK is seeking researchers for an initial 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. Candidates may work either hybrid from Manchester or fully remote. This global insights and strategy consultancy helps their clients drive stronger connections with their consumers. With an international footprint, they have an amazing mixture of clients, based in the UK, US, Europe, APAC and the Middle East.

Their team of researchers and strategists spend their days listening to people from all walks of life, understanding how they see the world, and translating this into recommendations and insights with impact. Entering a busy period they are looking expand this team with strong researchers on an initial 3-month contract basis (with potential for temp to perm).

Either hybrid working, based in their Manchester office, 2 days a week, or fully remote, you'll partner with clients, delivering insights to help them connect with their consumers. As a full-service researcher, ideally with quantitative and qualitative skills (focus on one will be considered) your key responsibilities will be far-ranging from; client and project management, developing research methodologies and conducting primary research (i.e., questionnaires, online communities, depths, groups and ethnography observations) to delivering final reports and presentations. Partnering closely with Directors, you'll be able to showcase your capabilities in client management, storytelling and innovative research methods.

We're looking for researchers who can think strategically, go beyond data analysis and find solutions that drive impact on an emotional level. Driven by curiosity to understand what makes people tick you'll constantly be asking and solving human-driven questions. Their projects are exceptionally varied – mainly bespoke ad-hoc pieces.

To succeed you will have market research experience gained in a market research agency, ideally be adept at working with both quantitative and qualitative data, and have a keen eye for detail, visualisation and finding the story!
