A community healthcare provider is seeking a qualified Specialist Community Public Health Nurse to lead health services for the 0-19 year population. You will manage a skill mix team and establish partnerships to provide seamless healthcare. A full UK driving licence and specific qualifications are required. You will work as part of a team to deliver universal and targeted health services to the 0-19 year population and will be responsible for the day to day leadership of a defined caseload, managing and supporting a skill mix team.
You will be expected to develop excellent partnership working relationships in order to provide seamless services to Children, Young people and their families.
This post requires a knowledgeable practitioner with excellent communication skills and a desire to develop their leadership and management skills. You will possess the Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (Health Visitor) qualification.

The role will include services to antenatal women, completion of the Healthy Child Programme for under 5s, enhanced programmes of care within school and community settings for the 5 -19 age group, breast feeding support and a strong element of leadership to the skill mix 0-19 cluster team.
Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
