The Media, Film and Technology department is growing. As a teacher in the department, you will work within a successful team of 12 teachers delivering a range of courses including:

1. A Level Media and A Level Film Studies
2. Creative Digital Technologies (diploma)
3. Media - Video and Moving Image (diploma)
4. Digital Media (diploma)
5. IT (applied general)

We are seeking a teacher for maternity cover for Digital Media and Creative Digital Technologies (CTEC Digital Media Level 3 qualifications).

The successful candidate will have the skill-set and adaptability to deliver both examined content and portfolio-based materials in vocational subjects. They will also have the ability to inspire and develop others and be dedicated to raising teaching standards and using a range of strategies to ensure continued success.

We are looking for someone with a strong technical background and an adaptable skill-set across the creative disciplines, particularly within the Adobe suite. Knowledge of Blender would be advantageous but is not essential.

Students across all subjects have access to dedicated classrooms with relevant software and are supported by a Technician. The department also has two study spaces for independent learning, a large TV/Photography Studio, loanable equipment, and a Radio Suite with weekly live broadcasts on community radio station Unity 101. We are committed to providing a safe and engaging space where students want to contribute to the wider College and community.
