About the Apprenticeship

Atomix Educational Trust is looking for someone who is ready to start an exciting journey into the world of digital marketing while helping shape the future of education. This opportunity is perfect for a creative thinker who lives online, loves trends and wants to turn their passion for social media and content into a real career.

Responsibilities
  • Produce videos, social media posts and written materials that capture attention and inspire action.
  • Use Adobe Creative Suite and Canva to design posters, social media graphics and marketing materials aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Support video content creation, assisting with editing footage from events, student stories and promotional materials.
  • Capture photography and videography at events and across trust sites, documenting the experiences of students and staff.
  • Design layouts for various marketing materials, including posters, social media posts and presentations.
  • Support day‑to‑day social media presence across platforms, developing content that resonates with young people whilst maintaining professional standards.
  • Contribute ideas and content for the Trust's TikTok strategy, bringing understanding of youth culture and digital trends.
  • Update website content, publish blog posts and ensure information across digital platforms remains accurate and compelling.
Qualifications and Desired Skills
  • Eagerness to learn and stay updated with fast‑changing digital trends.
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms and online engagement.
  • Analytical mindset with interest in tracking performance data.
  • Creativity in content ideas, design, and problem‑solving.
  • Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Team player with a proactive, positive attitude.
  • Driver's licence required due to the need to occasionally travel to different sites.
  • A Grade 5/C in Maths and a Grade 4/C in English is required for this role.
Benefits

Salary: £14,596 per annum.

Hours: 9am‑5pm Monday to Friday.

Training and Progression

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the team at Baltic Apprenticeships. The apprenticeship programme will provide you with everything you need to launch and develop your career in digital marketing. Afterwards, well support you to take the next steps, including further training and progression onto a Level 4 qualification.
