A leading Engineering Services company in the UK is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to provide site maintenance at various locations across the country. In this role, you will handle planned and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be apprentice trained with a solid background in mechanical repairs and possess strong problem-solving skills. This position offers an hourly rate of £18 - £20 plus excellent benefits.

Elevation Recruitment Group's Engineering Services Division are supporting a solutions driven Engineering Services company to recruit a Mechanical Fitter to work operationally at customer sites all over the UK, as well as the workshop in Rotherham.

Daily tasks and responsibilities for the Mechanical Fitter include:

• Provide site service and maintenance (both planned and reactive) at manufacturing sites and airports throughout the UK
• Address issues that arise and provide positive solutions whilst delivering the best service
• Complete site documentation accurately and efficiently, such as permit requests, method statements & risk assessments
• Compile accurate and precise written reports for customers
• Support and contribution to workshop activities, including build and functional testing.

Knowledge & experience required for the Mechanical Fitter include:

• Apprentice trained/time served Mechanical Fitter with experinced repairing mechanical plant and equipment
• Site safety passport
• Excellent problem solving mindset with the ability to fault find and implement an appropriate solution
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Clean UK driving licence
