Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a major Energy from Waste power station in Greater London. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all engineering aspects related to mechanical equipment, ensuring high plant availability. Key duties include chairing meetings for engineering improvements, conducting inspections with contractors, and analyzing operational data. Responsibilities
- Chair meetings with maintenance and operational staff to discuss engineering improvements.
- Inspect areas of the Plant with contractors for proposals.
- Analyze data from systems to evaluate engineering improvements.
- Liaise with Legal and Procurement on contracts.
- Support investigations into Plant problems with the Maintenance team.
- Investigate innovative engineering or maintenance techniques.
