Our client, a busy independent garage in Tring, Hertfordshire, is seeking experienced Vehicle Technicians/Mechanics to join their established workshop team. Vehicle Technicians and Mechanics returning to the motor trade are very welcome.
h3 Vehicle Technician Responsibilities
As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring servicing and repairs are carried out to manufacturer standards
- Desirable: Cambelt, clutch, gearbox, and engine repairs/replacements
- Desirable: Electrical and mechanical diagnostics
- Carrying out MOT testing to DVSA standards (if qualified)
h3 Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Level 2/3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
- At least 2 years post-apprenticeship experience
- Full and clean UK driving licence
Desirable Requirements:
- Class 4 MOT licence
- Manufacturer accreditations
- MOT licence (Class 4 & 7)
h3 Remuneration & Benefits
Basic salary of £32,000 to £40,000 DOE.

Opportunity to qualify as an MOT tester
