Head of Maintenance

Salary: £32,000 per annum

Location: Oakham

Hours: Full-time | 5 shifts out of 7 | Includes weekends & bank holidays

Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for keeping things running smoothly? I’m on the hunt for a proactive and skilled Head of Maintenance to oversee this stunning lakeside resort, ensuring top-notch facilities for guests and team members.

Situated on a beautiful estate, the hotel boasts:

2. 49 charming lodges
3. Extensive landscaped grounds
4. Versatile event spaces

This is your chance to lead a dedicated maintenance team, take on exciting challenges, and play a vital role in the guest experience.

What You’ll Do

1. Oversee planned preventative maintenance to keep everything in top condition
2. React quickly to breakdowns and ensure swift resolutions - even in emergencies
3. Maintain detailed records and ensure health & safety compliance
4. Lead, train, and inspire a proactive and skilled maintenance team
5. Work with contractors, manage budgets, and implement improvements to elevate our resort

The ideal Candidate

1. A hands-on problem solver with a strong mechanical background
2. Relevant trade qualifications and experience in a hotel/resort environment
3. A natural leader with excellent organizational skills
4. Health & safety focused, ensuring a safe and seamless experience for guests and staff
5. A can-do attitude and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
6. Full, clean driving license required
