Software Consultant Developer
Job summary
A leading consultancy is seeking Consultant Software Developers to engage in projects for public sector clients across the UK. The role requires strong expertise in Java and familiarity with Agile methodologies, while offering a hybrid working model. Candidates must have SC clearance eligibility and be available for travel. This position offers a salary between £45,000 and £59,000.
Qualifications

Futureheads are looking for 2x Consultant Developers to join a well known consultancy who carry out projects for end clients largely within the public sector.
- Role: Software Developer (Consultant)
- Location: Hybrid – Newcastle, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, London (if you are in commutable distance of any of these locations, please apply)
- Stack: Java (preferred); Scala, Kotlin, Ruby (favourable)
- Approaches: XP, TDD, Pair Programming
- Salary: £45,000 – £59,000 (Consultant)
- Requirements: SC clearance / eligibility; knowledge of the GDS toolkit; able to travel; please note there is no sponsorship available for these roles
