We have a fantastic new job opportunity for aSenior Software Engineer / Software Developer who has proven software application development experience across the stack C#, ASP, .NET, Blazor, API Development, Microservices, Containers and Deployment Pipelines.

Working as a Senior Software Engineer / Software Developer you’ll design and build high-quality, scalable software that keeps the company’s products and operations running smoothly. You’ll write clean, maintainable code that balances immediate needs with long-term system sustainability.

As the Senior Software Engineer / Software Developer you will work closely with both technical and non-technical teams, you’ll help shape the technical roadmap, break down silos, and ensure alignment with the company’s IT architecture. You’ll also mentor junior engineers, share your expertise, and introduce new technologies that help the company work smarter and more effectively together.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Senior Software Engineer / Software Developer include:

• Write clean, effective, and scalable code to deliver reliable systems that drive business success

• Make pragmatic, well-informed decisions that align with the vision and future growth

• Work proactively and at pace, maintaining high standards and leading by example, while staying calm under pressure to quickly evaluate options and implement practical solutions

• Identify and recommend technology solutions to improve overall business efficiency

• Collaborate across teams and with architecture owners to break down silos and deliver the technical roadmap

• Embrace emerging technologies to enhance quality and accelerate progress

• Demonstrate a growth mindset, humility, and curiosity, engaging broadly across the business

• Be invested in supporting those around you to develop their skills, coaching and mentoring junior colleagues to expand their thinking and capabilities

• Communicate clearly and transparently, ensuring technical concepts are understood by all stakeholders

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience with Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, SQL Database), identity & access, and infrastructure as code

• Strong software development skills across the stack using C#, ASP .NET, Blazor, API development, microservices, containers, and deployment pipelines

• Solid understanding of secure coding practices and compliance in SaaS environments, including Azure Security Centre and Defender

• Experience building scalable and reliable systems

• Be a collaborative team player with experience leading code reviews and mentoring junior engineers

• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Product-focused mindset with an understanding of SaaS models and balancing technical debt against business value

The nice to haves:

• Degree level of education or equivalent in a relevant subject such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, information management systems, software development or business information systems etc

• Practical understanding of applied AI in data platforms.
