Job summary
A well-established business in North Norfolk seeks a talented Management Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will handle monthly management accounts, budgeting, and supervise the Finance Assistant. This role requires strong management accounting experience, advanced Excel skills, and a proactive approach. Salary is up to £42,000 DOE and offers a varied, hands-on experience.
Qualifications
- Strong management accounting experience, ideally in a commercial or manufacturing environment.
- Confident with cost accounting, stock control, and margin analysis.
- Advanced Excel and strong systems skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, performance analysis, and variance reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and oversee payroll submissions.
- Monitor KPIs and provide insight to non-finance colleagues.
- Liaise with auditors and group finance on statutory requirements.
- Supervise and develop a Finance Assistant.
