Job summary
A leading recruitment agency in Manchester seeks an Interim Capital Accountant to support the Head of Finance on capital matters. The role requires a CCAB qualification and a management qualification, alongside recent experience in capital planning, closure of accounts, and a local authority background. This exciting opportunity is available for a 6- to 9-month interim assignment and includes hybrid working options.
Qualifications
- A CCAB qualification and management qualification with membership of a relevant accountancy body.
- Recent experience in Capital, including Statutory Returns and Financial Statements.
- Familiarity with Capital closure of accounts and working papers.
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate and account for the capital programme and Treasury Management.
- Lead the Capital Programme for the MTFS and Capital closure of accounts.
- Oversee the implementation of the Fixed Asset system.
