A leading technology company in London seeks a Software Developer in Test (C# or TypeScript) to enhance automation frameworks within a collaborative team model. In this hybrid role, you will design and maintain modern automation solutions, work closely with engineers to improve quality, and support CI/CD initiatives. Candidates should possess strong coding skills in C# or TypeScript and experience with automation frameworks like Playwright or Selenium.
Software Developer in Test (C# or TypeScript) – London | Hybrid 3 days per week | £65,000 to £75,000 base plus discretionary bonus
Ncounter is partnered with a high-performing technology team who are looking for an SDET to help deliver complex, user-facing products. This is a role for someone who thinks like a developer but specialises in quality, working side by side with engineers to ship reliable, well-tested features at pace. Personality is just as important as technical expertise; they want someone collaborative and personable who will strengthen the team culture.
You'll be joining the Web Engineering group, which works across React and C#, and the role sits within a developer-in-test model that blends QAs and developers. The team is made up of juniors through to a team lead, with a strong culture of collaboration, reviews and shared learning. Hybrid working is three days per week in a new central London office.
The interview process is structured and efficient: an initial 30-minute call with engineers, a focused take-home task in C# or TypeScript, then an onsite session with senior engineers and stakeholders.
If you are motivated by building frameworks, improving automation reliability, and embedding quality at the heart of engineering, we'd like to hear from you. Please send your CV to Ncounter with a short note on your recent automation work and the impact it delivered.
