A global engineering company seeks a Fire Detection Field Service Specialist to join its Marine Service team. In this field-based role, you will service and commission fire detection systems on naval and commercial marine projects, including offshore assignments. Candidates should have proven electrical engineering experience and a relevant degree, with minimum 3 years in similar roles. Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience servicing and commissioning fire detection systems.
- Willingness to work offshore and overseas.
- Full UK driving licence required.
Responsibilities
- Perform planned and reactive servicing of fire detection systems.
- Lead commissioning of new and upgraded systems.
- Provide technical guidance to vessel crews.
Skills
Proven Electrical Engineering experience
Ability to interpret client technical specifications
Knowledge of SOLAS and marine safety regulations
Hands-on experience with graphics systems
Education
Degree or qualification in Electrical/Electronic or Control & Instrumentation Engineering
Tools
Familiarity with brands like Autronica, Tyco, Siemens
Experience with HMI systems
