Job summary
A technology consultancy is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead projects in Manufacturing & Plant Infrastructure. This role involves managing IT projects, ensuring compliance in a highly regulated environment, and collaborating closely with engineering and operations teams. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in MES and project management certifications. The position is a 6-month contract, with occasional travel required, and is based in London.

Are you an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in manufacturing operations, MES and technology delivery?
We are seeking a skilled professional to lead projects that keep production running smoothly while driving efficiency and compliance across global manufacturing environments.
As an IT Project Manager – Manufacturing & Plant Infrastructure, you will manage projects such as:
- Maintenance management systems
- Testing platforms and MES enhancements
- Labeling solutions
- Plant‑floor infrastructure and network changes
You will work closely with operations, engineering, quality, and IT teams to understand production needs, translate them into actionable requirements, and deliver robust, compliant solutions with minimal disruption to throughput. The role involves vendor coordination, risk and change control, validation where required, and ensuring all deployments meet regulatory, safety, and performance standards.
- IT project management experience with MES, manufacturing operations and technology delivery in an international / Global setting
- Proven experience in highly regulated environments with strict compliance requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or related field is highly desirable
- Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) preferred
