A health-focused charity is seeking a Stroke Support Coordinator to assist stroke survivors and their carers transition from hospital to community. Responsibilities include managing volunteers and offering support. Ideal candidates have experience in a caring profession and excellent communication skills. This is a part-time position based in Bury, with a salary of approximately £21,900 per annum.

Connaissances
Home-based, Bury. Regular travel required for team meetings and other work‑related meetings.
The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and their carers across the stroke pathway by providing a range of innovative support solutions. The Stroke Support Coordinator will help new stroke survivors and their carers transition from hospital discharge into the community, offering personalised information, advice and support, and facilitating lifestyle changes to prevent further strokes.
- Recruit, train and manage a team of volunteers to support service users and deliver the service.
- Support new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.

- Be accountable for volunteer activities.
- Experience in a caring profession, ideally supporting people with disabilities.
- Experience setting up and running support groups.
- Experience in volunteer recruitment, training and management is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Will travel regularly across a large geographical area to visit clients at home and in community settings.
- Must be a UK resident and have the right to work in the UK.

Part‑time, 28 hours per week. Fixed‑term contract until 31 March 2026. Salary: Circa £21,900 per annum (FTE approx £27,435 per annum).
