In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation of ABB's U.S. government policies, tools, controls, and processes within the Electrification's businesses. Each day, you will provide guidance, advice, and direction for enhancing business compliance processes, tools, and infrastructure, while seeking to apply common solutions across businesses, and developing and delivering trainings, providing coaching and mentoring, directing business assessments, and providing domain subject matter expertise while monitoring and implementing emerging laws and regulations to pursue and perform awards funded in whole or in part by U.S. federal, state, and municipal agencies. You will be mainly accountable for:
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Lead and support the identification of business areas for improvement, create consensus-building solutions with cross-functional teams, and operationalizing the enhancements for continuous improvement of policies, standards, and processes.
- Provide expert strategic and tactical guidance on complying with government requirements, partnering with business functions to drive compliant contracts and product solutions.
- Develop and deliver training, coaching, and guidance to business and functional teams, ensuring practical application of government contracting requirements throughout the organization.
- Serve as a domain expert for direct and indirect government-funded projects, supporting sales, marketing, proposal, and contract performance teams to comply with complex government requirements.
- Coordinate periodic compliance self-assessments, conduct focused audits, and collaborate with internal and external teams to shape policies, foster a culture of integrity, and ensure documentation and readiness for government audits.
Bachelor degree in business administration, management, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in managing U.S. government-funded contracts, including subcontracts with commercial and government elements.
- Expert knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR), especially FAR Part 12, with experience as both prime contractor and subcontractor.
- Strong understanding of compliance across sales, risk management, engineering, supply chain, finance, and quality assurance in the U.S. government sector.
- Proven ability to implement business processes and compliance systems in complex organizations, including developing training and documentation.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

- Time off: Salaried exempt positions are provided vacation under a permissive time away policy. While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $98,700 and $157,920 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
