In this newly created role, you'll play a key in amplifying the impact of work we do across our multiple businesses. Your work will fall into two categories: securing high-quality editorial placements in motoring, consumer, and trade press, and building and managing our first affiliate program, where partners integrate our quote forms and earn commission on successful deals.

This is a hands-on role with a lot of room to make an impact. You'll be shaping how our brand is talked about in the media, while also building a scalable partnership channel from scratch. You will run the whole show - but with the support and guidance of an experienced existing team. We want to push the boundaries of who our brands can reach and the organisations we can work with.

• Editorial & SEO Outreach
  • Research, target, and secure editorial coverage in top automotive and consumer publications.
  • Build strong relationships with journalists, editors, and content managers.
  • Pitch and place 3-5 relevant editorials each month (mix of national press and specialist outlets).
  • Ensure coverage consistently including mentions and backlinks to our brands.
  • Work with the SEO team to track ranking improvements on priority keywords.
• Affiliate Program Development
  • Launch our affiliate program, creating a clear commission model and onboarding process.
  • Recruit and manage 10-15 affiliate partners in the first 6 months, expanding to 25-30 by year end.
  • Collaborate with publishers to embed our quote forms and ensure proper tracking.
  • Report on affiliate performance (traffic, conversions, revenue) and optimise to improve results.
• Commercial & Strategic
  • Blend editorial and affiliate efforts where possible (e.g., coverage that also includes our quote forms).
  • Track and report monthly on outreach and affiliate performance.
  • Keep ahead of industry trends in affiliate marketing, digital PR and SEO.

Within your first 12 months, you'll be expected to:

• Secure 40-50 high-quality editorial placements per year, driving backlinks and referral traffic.
• Deliver measurable SEO uplift — average +5 positions on key search terms, and 10-15% more organic traffic year-on-year.
• Launch and scale the affiliate program to 25-30 partners, with at least 70% actively driving traffic.
• Generate 5-10% of total new deal revenue through affiliates by year end.
• Land 5+ dual wins (publications that give us both editorial coverage and affiliate placement).

• 3-5+ years in SEO outreach, PR, partnerships, or affiliate marketing.
• Strong understanding of SEO, backlinks, and how digital PR supports search visibility.
• Experience launching or managing affiliate programs (network or SaaS platform knowledge a plus).
• Excellent communicator and relationship builder.
• Commercially minded, comfortable setting targets and reporting against them.
• Automotive or recycling sector knowledge is a bonus, but not essential.

Working Monday to Friday 8am to 5.00pm remotely, with a minimum of quarterly visits to our office.
