Job summary
A recruitment agency is seeking a Mobile HGV Diagnostics Technician based in the UK. In this role, you will diagnose hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical faults in heavy vehicles across various national sites. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and hands-on experience in the field. Are you a skilled HGV, or fleet maintenance professional looking for a mobile role?
This is a mobile role working with a team of engineers diagnosing faults and more complex fixes across multiple national sites.
Diagnosing hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical faults, supporting both diesel and electric vehicle systems across multiple sites.
- A strong background in heavy plant, HGVs, or mechanical engineering – ideally as a senior or master technician.
- Hands‑on experience with hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical fault finding and repair. Exposure to HGV fleet vehicles or heavy plant machinery
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance, Plant or HGV (City & Guilds, NVQ, IMI, or equivalent).
- A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the UK occasionally.
- £50k basic salary + vehicle and expenses (occasional overnight stays) Paid from door to door.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, enhanced pension and access to healthcare services
