A leading CRO firm in the UK is seeking an experienced Interim Head of Quality (GCP) for a critical leadership role over 3–6 months. The position involves managing QA strategy, audits, and vendor oversight, while boosting quality frameworks during a pivotal period. The role is primarily remote but requires candidates based in the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for senior QA professionals to provide essential support in a time of high operational demand.

I’m currently supporting a leading CRO that is seeking an experienced Interim Head of Quality (GCP) to step into a critical leadership role during a period of high operational demand.
- Extensive experience in GCP Quality Management within pharma / biotech or CRO environments
- Proven leadership in QA strategy, oversight, and inspection readiness
- Strong track record of managing audits, CAPA, vendor oversight, and quality governance
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with clinical operations, regulatory, and project teams
- Immediate or short-notice availability
- Duration : 3–6 months
- Commitment : 4–5 days per week
- Sector : Contract Research
The role is going to be mostly conducted remotely, however the client would like someone based in the UK
