This remote role requires expertise in Primavera P6 and critical path analysis to assess project delays. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction technology and report writing, with a degree qualification. Initial salary of £120,000 plus bonuses, with opportunities to progress to full Partner. Candidates from all over the UK are encouraged to apply.
THE ROLE
An experienced DELAY ANALYST / FORENSIC PLANNER at Partner Designate level is sought to join my client as soon as possible. The role is based from anywhere in the UK, with the potential to become a full Partner ASAP.
Occasional visits to the main office in Suffolk will be required.
My client is a specialist firm based in Suffolk working on claims, delay, expert work and commercial support for projects in buildings, infrastructure and more. They provide technical support to lawyers and have acted as Party Representative for construction clients on adjudications. They also offer specialist construction arbitration and construction adjudication services.
They have an opening for an ambitious Partner Designate Delay Analyst / Forensic Planner to join ASAP, based from anywhere in the UK (including London, Birmingham, East Midlands, Suffolk, Cambridge, South East, South West, etc.). The role covers work across the UK with some requirement to visit the Suffolk office.
You will need to be proficient in Primavera P6 to assess the impact of variations on the programme. Ideally, experience with MS Project and ASTA is also desirable.
You should have experience of critical path analysis, report writing, and a good eye for detail to investigate why a project programme has become delayed. Prior experience in delay work is essential, including report writing, with a solid knowledge of construction technology. A degree qualification and excellent written and spoken English are required, with experience gained from working for a main contractor in delay or with a claims/dispute consultancy.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable occasionally working on live projects, able to identify project difficulties and pinch points, and develop workable plans and methodologies. You should be able to create programmes using specialised software for design, procurement and construction.
You may have worked on building, civil, MEP, utilities and related sectors. An outgoing personality and the ability to bring in clients or engage in business development are advantageous. Ideally, you will also have potential clients to bring to the firm.
The client would like someone to join as an Associate or Partner Designate before becoming a full Partner.
Initial pay in the region of £120,000 per annum plus bonus upon progression to Partner.
