Overview

About YLD: Our goal is to help our clients keep moving forward. We work with them to build the skills and capabilities they need to stay ahead of the competition, and we know our success only happens when they succeed. We’re a remote-first consultancy specialising in software engineering, product design, and data. Our teams are based across London, Lisbon, and Porto, and we create digital solutions that continue to deliver value long after our work is done.
About the role: YLD is investing in marketing as a key driver of growth, reputation, and talent attraction. As our Senior Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping this function. This is not a “maintenance” role. You’ll bring structure, clarity, and strategy—while also delivering campaigns, content, and events. You’ll provide leadership and direction to our existing team, and act as the bridge between Marketing, Sales, and Client Services.
Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and grow the existing marketing team.
- Partner with the Sales team, with direct responsibility for enabling the team to deliver against their revenue targets.
- Ensure operational excellence, managing budgets, measuring impact, and maintaining accurate data and processes in HubSpot. Note that there is no in-house demand generation expertise, so hands-on HubSpot knowledge is required.

- Partner closely with Sales/Commercial to create effective collateral (case studies, decks, campaigns, events).
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of high-quality case studies and thought leadership content.
- Establish metrics, dashboards, and reporting to measure ROI on marketing activity.
- Manage YLD’s digital presence (website, social, email marketing) and optimise for performance.
- Plan and execute events and community initiatives that raise YLD’s brand profile.
- Oversee employer brand and recruitment marketing to support People team needs.
