Job summary
A charitable organization seeks a detail-oriented financial professional to maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with charity accountancy standards. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and liaising with auditors. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance, proven charity accountancy experience, and proficiency in Xero and Excel. This is a remote position with anticipated ongoing work.
Qualifications

- Proven experience in charity accountancy, with a focus on financial management.
- Strong understanding of charity accountancy principles.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records for the charitable entity.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with charity accountancy standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams for financial data reporting.
- Liaise with external auditors during annual audits.
- Provide financial insights for strategic decisions.
