Job summary
A global workforce solutions company is looking for an Avid MAM (Media Asset Management) Technical Consultant. This role focuses on migrating media assets and metadata with strong expertise in Avid MAM and AWS S3 services. Responsibilities include preparing data, validating metadata, executing migration workflows, and collaborating on cloud integrations. Ideal candidates will have strong problem-solving skills and a background in media & broadcast technology. The position is remote and offers permanent hiring.

- Experience with AWS S3 services and cloud-based migration workflows.
- Knowledge of metadata migration processes and workflow automation.
Responsibilities
- Export and prepare media assets and metadata from Avid MAM for migration.
- Extract, enrich, and validate metadata from Avid MAM systems.
- Execute migration workflows to transfer media assets from AWS S3 to cloud-based environments.
- Support ingestion workflows within Mimir to process assets and archive content.

- Ability to design scalable, reliable, and efficient migration workflows.

- Familiarity with Mimir ingestion pipelines.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
- Source Data Preparation
- Export and prepare media assets and metadata from Avid MAM for migration.
- Organize source data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Metadata Migration
- Extract, enrich, and validate metadata from Avid MAM systems.
- Ensure metadata integrity and linkage between media objects and assignments.
- Normalize metadata for compatibility with downstream ingestion workflows.
- Media Migration
- Execute migration workflows to transfer media assets from AWS S3 archives to cloud‑based processing environments.
- Validate successful transfers and troubleshoot issues during migration.
- Cloud Integration
- Support ingestion workflows within Mimir to process assets, generate proxies, and archive content into Google Cloud Storage (GCS).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth integration file transfer platform.
