  • Lead and deliver high-profile, technically complex projects to create meaningful outcomes for firms, consumers, and the wider market

  • Build strong networks with key stakeholders to positively influence the sector and represent the FCA at external events

  • Provide leadership across teams by guiding colleagues, assuring quality, and sharing knowledge to strengthen FCA capability

  • Collaborate with technical specialists and senior leaders to shape consumer investment strategy and deliver better outcomes for consumers

  • Prior experience of supporting, training and coaching others, with strong communication skills, and the ability to explain complex issues clearly, succinctly and sensitively to different audiences verbally and in writing

Essential:

  • Strategic and pragmatic thinker, with the ability and understanding to make connections and develop innovative solutions and recommendations

  • Comfortable working in a proactive manner with the ability to self‑manage and prioritise own resource

  • Excellent influencing skills with ability to understand your audience and persuade with well‑reasoned arguments and adapting as appropriate
