A prominent charitable organization in Oswestry is seeking a Head of Finance to oversee financial processes and governance. This full-time permanent role offers hybrid working and a competitive salary between £60,772 and £67,081, plus benefits. You will manage the Finance team and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while playing a vital role in the charity's mission to support children with life-threatening conditions.

This full‑time permanent role offers hybrid working and a real work‑life balance and is compensated with a competitive salary of £60,772–£67,081 per annum plus car allowance and benefits.
The Head of Finance will be operationally responsible for the financial processes and governance of the charity and provide timely and relevant insight and analysis to influence decision making and performance.
Managing the Finance team, you will lead on all accounting activities in accordance with the Charity Commission’s Standards of Recommended Practice (SORP) and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including HMRC, the Charity Commission and the Gambling Commission. You will work closely with the Chief Executive and Director of Finance & Transformation to propose the financial strategy and budgets for the organisation to the Board of Trustees and act as the principal liaison with the appointed auditors.
