LEGAL RECRUITER/ACCOUNT MANAGER - LONDON, BIRMINGHAM OR GLASGOW
Role overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced legal recruiter to join our Flexible Services team as an Account Manager. Our Account Managers are at the forefront of our service delivery to clients – those being in house legal teams of all sizes who are utilising our Flexible Services offering across a diverse range of sectors, as well as providing interim resourcing solutions to Practice Groups / Sectors / Teams. This is a permanent position.
Daily responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Supporting client relationships for specific PM Practice Groups / Sectors / Teams and will act as a key point of contact to proactively identify and develop opportunities to promote Flexible Services service offerings within the Group and wider external market.
- Working in close collaboration with Vario Operations to ensure service excellence across the function.
- Taking a lead role in driving fulfilment best practice, driving consistency and quality of service internally which reflects the market leading reputation of Vario Flexible Services.
- Contributes to a high performing team culture great team – identifying coaching and upskilling opportunities across the team.
- Day-to-Day line management of the Flexible Service Assistants, which will include allocation of work and monitoring of workload/capacity level to ensure delivery is efficient.
- Ownership of performance management of the Assistants, this will include conducting probation reviews, appraisals, setting objectives to align to Group strategy and skilfully managing under performance.
- Leading on assignment activity and keeping aligned to the strategic resourcing plans implemented by the Account Director.
- Liaising with clients and candidates to match them to assignments.
- Preparing fee proposals.
- Using all internal and external resources and relationships to prepare the candidate thoroughly for the start of their assignment.
- Monitoring the progress of assignments.
- Undertaking assignment debriefs with the client and the candidate.
- Oversee Compliance activity for assignments.
- Support on a number of development projects. These could range from, for example, the offering of a Flexible Services solution in new markets / jurisdictions / new service lines through to the enhancement of our Vario training programme or the implementation of new selection tools.
Candidate overview:
If you are the right candidate for us, you will hold the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience of working within or closely with, a legal service provider or an in-house legal team.
- Legal or professional services recruitment experience.
- Understanding of and interest in the changes in the legal sector.
