Working within the specialist Liability Claims Department, you will handle a varied caseload of defendant Employers’ Liability and Public Liability claims up to the value of £100K. The company is keen for you to develop your technical skills, and you will have the opportunity to deal with larger and more complex claims, in conjunction with more senior members of the team. Duties will include, but not be limited to, maintaining current knowledge of insurance guidelines, policy changes, and modifications, responding to client requests following service standards, and implementing strategies to minimise claims costs and leakage. You’ll also maintain good client relationships with stakeholders, setting reserves and authorising payments within the scope of your authority, whilst identifying suspicious or potentially fraudulent claims and taking appropriate action.

It's essential that you have some previous experience within a Liability Claims Handling environment. Our client will consider those from insurers, loss adjusters or brokers (including those from either a Defendant or Claimant background) and you must be competent with using the Portal.
You must also have the ability to structure your day to prioritise required tasks effectively, strong communication skills (both written and verbal), and the skills to navigate multiple systems throughout the claims journey.
