Job summary
A global cybersecurity firm in Manchester is seeking an experienced IT Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of PCI DSS architecture. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in Cyber Security, particularly in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), and excellent stakeholder communication skills. This role demands a thorough understanding of security standards, risk assessment, and vulnerabilities management, making it critical for top-tier security compliance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Cyber Security and PCI DSS.
- Experience in cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Ability to lead security architecture design and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of PCI DSS architectures.
- Conduct risk assessments and threat modelling.
- Create secure Enterprise-Grade Architectures.
Skills
Education
An IT Security Architect with a PCI DSS & cloud background (AWS, GCP OR Azure) is required to join our global client's new UK cybersecurity team. The role is to lead the design and implementation of PCI DSS architecture on a global scale from their head office in central Manchester.
- 5+ years of experience working in Cyber Security, PCI DSS within a cloud environment
- Have good Security architecture experience, ideally with a DevSecOps environment
- Excellent experience with PCI DSS and able to lead design
- Vulnerability management & Compliance
- Strong Security standard knowledge and experience, consulting on a range of security policies and standards such as GDPR, ISO, PCI, and NIST
- Confidence when speaking with stakeholders and clients
- Ideally, some relevant cybersecurity certifications - CISSP, CCSP, CISM etc
- Lead the design and implementation of PCI DSS architectures, ensuring compliance with the highest security standards.
- Design and create secure Enterprise-Grade Architectures Across Cloud, Hybrid, and On-Prem Environments
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and threat modelling to proactively identify vulnerabilities and develop effective mitigation strategies
