Visum Recruitment is pleased to represent our client, a leading HVAC + R provider, in their search for an Applications Engineer to join their UK operations on a full-time, permanent basis.

As Applications Engineer, you’ll provide technical and project support to customers and employees as well as promote company products and services to contractors and consultants.

Application Engineer Job Overview

• Provide technical assistance to the Product Sales Team and its employees.
• Assist customers in all technical advice and support as required.
• Assist sales and administration colleagues by accepting telephone orders and enquiries.
• Responsible for increasing levels of technical ability at regional level.
• To manage the project database, maintaining standards and effectiveness of quotations.
• Liaise with Regional Project Sales Manager and National Business Support Manager on new products and design changes.
• Develop and maintain effective inter-personal relationships with Senior Project Sales Managers and Branch staff ensuring a high standard of teamwork.
• Processing sales and purchase orders, maintaining Branch records and other duties as instructed by the Regional Project Sales Manager.
• Regular communication with Branch Sales staff, providing project information to ensure follow-up on ancillary sales opportunities.
• Working closely with the Finance Team and Sales Managers, identify any potential credit issues, which would prevent or delay shipments.
