A leading healthcare provider in Manchester is seeking an experienced communication skills trainer to deliver comprehensive training workshops for health professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of delivering advanced training in various settings. The role entails collaborating with HR to assess training needs, developing innovative delivery methods, and providing expert advice to enhance communication strategies. This position offers a unique opportunity to impact healthcare training and quality across Greater Manchester.
We are looking for a highly experienced and committed communication skills trainer to deliver our suite of communication, leadership and interpersonal skills training. You will be enthusiastic, creative and keen to offer flexible and innovative modes of delivery to meet the needs of health professionals in an ever-changing and pressurised environment. The successful candidate will already be delivering Advanced Communication Skills Training workshops and will either be an approved CONNECTED facilitator or able to demonstrate equivalent expertise and experience.
You will be involved in the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of a range of training events and services to meet the needs client groups internally and externally. This can be in a variety of settings, including face to face and on-line adapting learning and facilitation methods accordingly.
You will work closely with and provide expert support to workforce and HR colleagues, to proactively identify specialist training needs and opportunities for Christie staff at all levels. You will provide specialist knowledge and advice to external commissioners and organisations – informed by national policy and recent research.
Work with the Senior Trainer/ academy lead and alongside our Events team colleagues to develop strategies and new, innovative modes of delivery to meet the needs of all stakeholders, including hard to reach groups. Facilitate communication and leadership skills courses, including feedback to senior healthcare professionals.
