A leading healthcare organization in Coventry offers an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Technical Services role in Treatment Planning. The successful candidate will be dynamic and motivated, responsible for providing treatment planning and dose measurement services, and working alongside a multi-disciplinary team. An exciting opportunity presents itself to join the Treatment Planning team at University Hospitals NHS Trust, Coventry. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated, and dynamic and able to complete a range of treatment planning techniques for a variety of different sites, including 3dCRT and IMRT.
Treatment Planning is performed using Raystation Treatment Planning System which offers users an exciting array of tools by which to optimise and perfect treatment plans. The role will also include working in other areas of the Radiotherapy Physics service including Mould Room, Brachytherapy and Machine Quality Control.
The department has 5 multimodal linacs, all with VMAT licence and cone beam CT to facilitate an active IGRT program. VMAT is delivered over a range of sites. The department uses image guided radiotherapy in treatment delivery and is also commissioned for SABR treatments. Brachytherapy is delivered using a Elekta/Nucletron microSelectron HDR with 3D conformal planning undertaken on Oncentra Masterplan using CT and MRI fusion.
The successful candidate will work alongside other dosimetrists, clinical scientists, radiographers and Consultant Oncologists as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate should be registered on the RCT or HCPC.
Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
