A leading UK healthcare provider is seeking a Consultant Medical Oncologist specializing in breast cancer at their London units. The successful applicant will join a multidisciplinary team, manage patients, and lead clinical trials. Candidates must hold an MRCP and have experience in similar roles. This is a full-time position offering flexible working patterns.

Substantive Consultant Medical Oncologist (Breast)

10 Programmed Activity contract. The post-holder will work with medical and clinical oncology colleagues at the Royal Free, Chase Farm and Barnet health units and will be essential for service provision as well as development of oral SACT clinics. The successful candidate should have experience working within a multidisciplinary team and broad Medical Oncology experience, with a focus on breast management. Tuesday – CFH: 09:00-13:00 CF clinic 1 PA; 13:00-17:00 CF clinic 1 PA; DCC.
Wednesday – RFH: 08:00-11:00 EBC MDT 0.75 PAs; 11:00-13:00 Clinic admin 0.5 PAs; 13:00-17:00 SPA: Audit lead 1 PA; SPA.
Thursday – BGH: 08:30-12:30 SPA 1 PA; 13:00-17:00 BGH Clinic 1 PA; DCC 17:00-18:00 Clinic admin 0.25 PAs; DCC.
Friday – RFH: 09:00-11:00 SFU MDT 0.5 PAs; 11:00-14:00 SFU Clinic 0.75 PAs; DCC; SPA 2 PAs; Inpatient 0.36 PAs; 10.11 total PAs.
The on-call commitment for this role is 1 in 18 (category B rota) for oncological inpatient management/attending system. SPA activity includes: Oral SACT lead.
