Job summary
A leading M&E contractor in the UK is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor for their Southern Division. This pivotal role involves supporting the Regional Health & Safety Manager, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance across multiple projects. Candidates should have experience in construction or M&E environments and be NEBOSH qualified. The position offers a competitive salary spectrum of £35,000 to £45,000, alongside a £7,000 car allowance and a comprehensive benefits package including annual leave and a pension scheme.

We are seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join the Southern Division team. This is a key role supporting the Regional Health & Safety Manager, promoting best practice across multiple live M&E projects.
- Conduct regular site audits and inspections, producing detailed reports.
- Review and monitor Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Assist in accident and incident investigations (not leading), including taking witness statements and compiling reports.
- Assist with preparing monthly Health & Safety reports.
- Support operational teams to maintain consistent H&S standards across all disciplines.
- Promote and embed best practice in line with company and legislative requirements.
- Some Health & Safety experience within construction or M&E contracting environments.
- NEBOSH qualified (General or Construction).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Practical, proactive and solutions-driven approach.
- Able to work effectively as part of a larger project team in a live construction environment.
- Competitive salary: £35,000 £45,000 (depending on experience).
- Car allowance: £7,000.
