Health & Safety Advisor National UK M&E Contractor (Southern Division)

Salary: £35,000 £45,000 + £7,000 Car Allowance

The Company

A market-leading £100m group of companies specialising in mechanical and electrical building services engineering delivering full lifecycle solutions from initial concept and design through to installation and ongoing facilities management and maintenance.

The Role

We are seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join the Southern Division team. This is a key role supporting the Regional Health & Safety Manager, promoting best practice across multiple live M&E projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections, producing detailed reports.
  • Review and monitor Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Assist in accident and incident investigations (not leading), including taking witness statements and compiling reports.
  • Assist with preparing monthly Health & Safety reports.
  • Support operational teams to maintain consistent H&S standards across all disciplines.
  • Promote and embed best practice in line with company and legislative requirements.
The Person
  • Some Health & Safety experience within construction or M&E contracting environments.
  • NEBOSH qualified (General or Construction).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Practical, proactive and solutions-driven approach.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a larger project team in a live construction environment.
The Package
  • Competitive salary: £35,000 £45,000 (depending on experience).
  • Car allowance: £7,000.
