An excellent opportunity for an experienced QHSE Assistant to join a well-established company!

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.
Salary: Competitive Salary, Negotiable Depending on Experience.
Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands, WV2.
Schedule: Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm, Friday: 7:00am – 3:45pm.

About The Role:

The company are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to support their QHSE Manager and operational teams. This is a hands-on role that involves maintaining documentation, conducting inspections and audits, assisting with risk assessments, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and safety.

They are looking for someone with strong administrative skills, a keen eye for detail, and a genuine interest in quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update QHSE documentation, policies, and training records
  • Assist with internal and external audits and site inspections
  • Support risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Help investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses
  • Deliver health and safety inductions and toolbox talks
  • Book and arrange training courses with approved providers
  • Respond to customer quality-related inquiries
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide reports and data to managers as required
Candidate Requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Experience or qualification in Health & Safety (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH)
  • Background in auditing or reporting is beneficial
  • Familiarity with QHSE standards (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance
