Workday Finance Developer/Lead
Job summary
A consultancy in financial management is seeking a candidate with expertise in Workday Financial Management modules, including General Ledger and Accounts Payable. The ideal applicant will possess hands-on configuration experience and a solid grounding in accounting principles. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and prior work experience in Workday implementation or support. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilize financial management skills actively in an impactful setting.

- Deep knowledge of Workday Financial Management modules including diverse aspects.
- Hands-on configuration experience with Workday setup.
- Solid grounding in accounting principles such as GAAP and IFRS.
Skills
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
- Deep knowledge of Workday Financial Management modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Management, Expenses, Procurement/Supplier Accounts, Banking & Settlement, and Financial Reporting & Analytics.
- Hands-on configuration experience with Business Processes, Security, and Workday Setup.
- Strong understanding of Workday Reporting (Advanced Reports, Composite, Matrix, Workday Prism).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for business and technical audiences.
- Solid grounding in accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS).
- Previous work experience in Workday implementation or support.
- Understanding of multi-entity, multi-currency consolidations.
- Exposure to financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
- Experience with audit, compliance, and controls (SOX, internal controls, statutory reporting).
