Forklift Driver and Warehouse Operative – Spider are advertising on behalf of a national electrical wholesaler who is looking to hire a full-time, permanent, Forklift Driver and Warehouse Operative person to join their friendly experienced team based in Colchester, Essex.

As aForklift Driver and Warehouse Operative, the role involves:

• Operating a forklift and engaging in supporting Goods Inward.
• Loading and unloading of goods.
• Supporting warehouse processing and picking of orders, maintaining stock levels and assisting with goods in/out processes.
• Covering delivery of orders at peak times/ holiday periods.

ThisForklift Driver and Warehouse Operative role has lots of progression opportunities as you will be working as part of an effective team, so will have an opportunity to get involved in different aspects within the branch.

As the successfulForklift Driver and Warehouse Operative,you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient offloading and loading of goods, maintaining the warehouse's organised environment and helping to keep the operations running smoothly. Qualities the employer require are:

• A professional and friendly approach.
• A valid forklift and driving licence are essential, ideally with experience of delivery driving.
• Applicants must be proficient in English, Math, and possess a keen eye for detail.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of (depending on experience), paid monthly with the opportunity to earn an annual profit share bonus. Hours of work 7:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday with and paid overtime and 1 Hour for Lunch.
