Job summary
A leading logistics company in Ashford is looking for a skilled Forklift Driver. The role involves safely operating forklifts, loading and unloading goods, and maintaining an organized working environment. Ideal candidates will possess a valid forklift license and have experience in a warehouse setting. Strong health and safety awareness is essential. Competitive pay and weekday shifts are offered.

- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Must have a strong awareness of health and safety procedures.

- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload goods from vehicles.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
Skills
Forklift Driver
Pay Rate: £12.50
Shifts: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles and storage areas.
- Move stock to designated areas within the warehouse or yard.
- Ensure all loads are secure and comply with health and safety standards.
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance needs.
- Assist with general warehouse duties including stock checks and order picking.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
- Support the team in meeting delivery schedules and customer expectations.
- Valid forklift license (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or builders' merchant environment preferred.
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
