Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking to join a rapidly growing FMCG manufacturing business in the Cambridge area, offering strong earning potential, excellent benefits, and genuine career progression?
We are working with a well‑established and expanding FMCG manufacturer seeking skilled Maintenance Engineers to support a modern, high‑volume production site in Cambridge. This is a great opportunity to join a business investing heavily in people, equipment, and long‑term growth.
Operating within a fast‑paced FMCG environment, you'll be responsible for a split of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance, ensuring machinery and production lines operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on automated manufacturing and packaging equipment
- Fault‑finding and repairs in a time‑critical production environment
- Supporting continuous improvement, reliability, and engineering‑led initiatives
- Working closely with production teams to maintain output, safety, and quality standards
- 6am – 2pm
- 2pm – 10pm
- 10pm – 6am
- Experienced Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical or Multi‑Skilled)
- Background in FMCG, manufacturing, or automated production environments
- Strong fault‑finding skills and a proactive maintenance approach
