Job summary

A leading FMCG Distributor seeks an experienced Transport Manager for a 12-month contract in Bedfordshire. The role involves overseeing a busy transport operation with a fleet of approximately 30 units. Key responsibilities include ensuring On Time, In Full (OTIF) deliveries and managing operational KPIs. Ideal candidates will have substantial transport experience in a multi-drop, FMCG setting and possess a CPC qualification.

Qualifications

  • Significant transport experience within a multi-drop, FMCG environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Ability to manage pressure and prioritize workloads.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of the transport operation to ensure timely deliveries.
