HAYLEY DEXIS is seeking an External Sales Engineer to join our established and expanding team at our pumps division in Dudley.

As an External Sales Engineer - Pumps, you will join a knowledgeable team to deliver excellent customer service and support our branch network. You'll have the opportunity to build rapport with branches and customers, becoming part of a growing company.

This role suits an engineer or fitter with pump experience seeking a transition into external sales. You will support multiple branches and sales teams across the UK, primarily in the Manchester area, operating along the M5 or M1 corridors, covering the south of the UK. The local Hayley Dexis branch will be your main contact point, providing technical assistance and solutions to customers regarding pump options, energy efficiency, and maintenance. Full product and sales training will be provided for suitable candidates.

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

• Visiting and building relationships with branches and customers
• Supporting the branch network to develop sales and identify potential new customers
• Generating sales leads with branch representatives and strategic accounts
• Converting quotations into orders
• Collaborating on quotations and enquiries with your team

• Experience in engineering or sales, preferably related to pumps
• Full, clean driving licence
• Customer-focused with high service standards
• Enthusiastic, eager to learn
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Strong communication and numerical skills
