This role will be based in our 5HP, London Victoria office, Strategic Marketing Leadership

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to maximize event attendance, sponsor engagement, and media coverage
• Lead cross-functional marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, and experiential channels
• Manage marketing budget allocation and ROI optimization across all channels
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align marketing objectives with business goals

• Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns targeting diverse audiences including tech professionals, startups, enterprises, investors, and government stakeholders
• Oversee content marketing strategy including thought leadership, speaker promotion, and industry insights
• Manage digital marketing initiatives including SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and marketing automation
• Coordinate PR and media relations to secure high-profile coverage and thought leadership opportunities

• Develop marketing strategies for sponsor activation and partnership promotion
• Create co-marketing opportunities with key industry partners, venues, and technology companies
• Manage relationships with marketing agencies, vendors, and external partners
• Coordinate with venue partners and local government for city-wide promotional activities

• Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks for all marketing activities
• Analyse campaign performance, audience engagement, and conversion metrics
• Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management and stakeholders
• Implement data-driven optimisation strategies for continuous improvement

• 7+ years of marketing experience with at least 3 years in senior marketing roles
• Proven track record in event marketing, preferably for large-scale technology or business events
• Experience managing marketing budgets of £300K+ and multi-channel campaigns
• Strong background in B2B marketing within the technology sector

• Expertise in marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, or similar)
• Proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media analytics, CRM systems)
• Experience with digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook Business Manager)
• Knowledge of SEO/SEM best practices and content management systems

• Strategic thinking with ability to translate business objectives into marketing strategies
• Excellent project management skills with experience managing multiple concurrent campaigns
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders

• Experience with international marketing campaigns and global audience engagement
• Background in startup ecosystem marketing or venture capital/investment marketing
• Previous experience with government relations or public sector marketing
• Familiarity with emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, fintech, etc.)
