UK Netting Lawyer — FinTech & LegalTech Innovator
Job summary
A prominent legal-data consulting firm in Greater London is seeking a Netting Lawyer to join their Legal Opinion Practice Group. This role focuses on close-out netting and collateral enforceability, blending legal expertise with innovative legal technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in capital markets law, excellent drafting skills, and a proactive work ethic. This position offers a salary between £75,000 and £115,000 depending on experience, and opportunities to work on cutting-edge legal technology projects within the financial sector.
Qualifications
- Experience in close-out netting and collateral enforceability.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and preparing summaries of legal opinions.
- Advising on master netting agreements for derivatives.
- Liaising with stakeholders on regulatory capital policies.
- Promoting awareness of regulatory frameworks.
- Contributing to smart legal-opinion initiatives.
