- Oversee the financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage and develop a small Finance Team , setting their objectives, and overseeing all day-to-day activities
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
- Responsible for preparing the month-end processes ensuring costs and income suitably accrued, prepaid, or deferred as appropriate
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.
- Managing and continually improving departmental reporting and analysis, working with managers to understand the results and drive improvement.
- Develop a strong working relationship with the key stakeholders of the businesses as well as a commercial understanding of the businesses, playing a key role in improving financial performance.
- Fully Qualified (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
- Previous people management experience
- Proficiency in financial management systems and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a finance team.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
