Job summary
A private equity-backed business in Grimsby is seeking an experienced Interim Head of Finance for a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will lead a finance team, ensuring operational stability and driving improvements in reporting and controls. This is a high-impact role ideal for a qualified accountant with a solid background in high-growth businesses. You should be available at short notice to make immediate contributions towards the company’s transformation during a critical growth phase.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Head of Finance, Financial Controller, or in a similar senior finance role.
- Background in private equity-backed or high-growth businesses.
- Available at short notice and able to make an immediate impact.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead all finance activities, including month-end close and management accounts.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a finance team of around 12.
- Improve reporting timelines and accuracy.
