My exclusive client is based in the Preston area and are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their small team on a permanent full time basis. This group of companies has a reputation built on quality and excellence and they are looking for a candidate to strive to match their goals. The key requirements and responsibilities are as follows:

• Complete production of monthly management accounts
• Purchase and Sales ledger as required
• Statement, Cash and bank reconciliations
• Reconciling outstanding debtors and reporting
• Credit control ensuring all outstanding invoices are chased
• Assisting the financial controller on ad-hoc projects as required

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

• AAT Qualification is preferable
• Excellent attention to detail and highly organised
• Sage line 50
• Microsoft Excel - Lookups/SUM formulas
