A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Senior Buyer to manage the purchasing cycle in the manufacturing sector. Responsibilities include building supplier relationships, negotiating terms, and tracking purchase orders. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and be proficient in Excel and Word. This is a full-time position based in Welburn, UK.
Responsabilidades
- Manage the full purchasing cycle from requisition to delivery.
- Build and maintain supplier relationships to improve cost, quality and delivery.
- Benchmark markets and negotiate competitive terms.
- Place and track purchase orders in line with planned demand.
- Resolve supplier issues, invoice queries and provide reports when required.
Conhecimentos

- Manage the full purchasing cycle from requisition to delivery
- Build and maintain supplier relationships to improve cost, quality and delivery
- Benchmark markets and negotiate competitive terms
- Place and track purchase orders in line with planned demand
- Resolve supplier issues, invoice queries and provide reports when required
- Purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to understand technical drawings
- Experience using MRP systems (preferred)
